The recent smear campaign Rick Vodicka took on to discredit Tim Dietrich to the public shows a complete lack of integrity.  All of the banter he has sent to every newspaper in the area is false!

Rick’s early dribble accuses the Sussex Village Board (which I am a part of) of voting for a property tax increase of 15%. That was wrong!
There was a 2.38% increase on the village portion of the tax bill. This equates to about $12.00 on a $300,000 house.  The Board worked hard to get to that number and should be commended for it.

He also accuses Tim of “championing costly Quiet Zone projects”. Again Rick is wrong!
Thus far, not one dime has been spent on this project.

Tim volunteered to take on the task of investigating what the cost would be to convert the Villages’ railroad crossings to a quiet zone. This benefits the Village in many ways, including advancing development in the Village and quality of life issues.
The work Tim put into this project saved the Village of Sussex $60,000.00 it would have otherwise cost the village to have a consultant do it. A meeting is scheduled for September 9th with the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), the Wisconsin DOT, the Canadian National Railroad, the Union Pacific Railroad and some local businesses. We will discuss what upgrades, if any, are needed and what the cost will be.
The Village Board will then vote on the issue. Mr. Vodicka and all Sussex residents are welcome to come to the Village Board meeting and voice their opinions.

Rick also accuses the Teamsters of endorsing Tim. Wrong again!
Teamsters Local 200, in a publication to the members, spoke of Tim’s honesty, hard work, and integrity. They offered Tim a $2500.00 donation and their support. Tim respectfully turned down the money because he is not accepting donations from special interest groups or anyone else for his campaign.

Rick Vodicka accuses Tim (in his early accounts) of having an Obama sign in his front yard. This has now grown into a “huge black and yellow sign”. Next week maybe it will be a neon sign. Again, Rick is wrong!
There has never been an Obama sign in Tim’s yard. Maybe Rick has the wrong house?

Maybe Rick Vodicka should have given Tim the same courtesy that he gave Tim’s opponent, Rich Zipperer. Perhaps Rick could have met with Tim or phoned him to ask his questions and/or discussed the issues?

Maybe Rick Vodicka would have found that Tim Dietrich is the better candidate?

This is America and you have the right to choose.
Look closely at each candidate, see them for who they are and then vote.
Don’t let someone else influence your decision with false accusations.

The word is out that Tim Dietrich will soon be announcing his candidacy for the District 33 Senate race.

A proud member of the Wisconsin GOP and Waukesha County GOP, Tim currently has only one other opponent, Rich Zipperer.  Will there be others?

Unlike his opponent, Tim Dietrich is a sparkling new candidate, and it appears that he just may be the best of the current two candidates running for District 33.
